Issue XVIII By: Kyle Haines Welcome to Issue XVIII. Learn about the meaning of the bell sculptures in Schiller Park! The Friends of Schiller Park were successful in raising funds for five permanent pieces. Enjoy seeing the lovely home of the Stahler family at 986 Yeager Street. Up for sale and across from Schiller Park. A great time was had connecting at German Village Haus und Garten Pretour. The cocktail party at the Meeting Haus was enjoyed by all! We had a tasty blast at the home of the Rectors where they held a Seinfeld Food dinner. Prost hosted an event at a beer garden in Old Towne East! Learn about the plight of black Americans traveling in the United States, the Green Book, and much more. A must-read the Overground Railroad written by Candacy Taylor. Have a spectacular July!
