Josie Merkle what her life long passion has been (other than family) and she will answer "Being an actor! I was always an actor! In the third grade I had the lead in the play. By fifth grade I wrote my own version of Little Women, directed and starred in it, of course!"
From Josie
My mother probably influenced me the most. She was also an actor and loved the theatre.

My birth, childhood and education all happened in Columbus, Ohio. I graduated from Upper Arlington High School and received my bachelors degree from The Ohio State University.
As a professional actor, I have been on radio and television commercials, independent films, worked in a summer repertoire company and currently act in several local theatre companies. I was awarded two Columbus Theatre Roundtable awards for Excellence in Acting.

When Josie is not acting on stage, she spends a lot of time with her grandson. Here he is with some of his besties at Schiller Park. He is also a member of the German Village Scooter Club.
