The Caplin's decided in 2023 to upgrade their sidewalk and driveway from cement to brick.
The cost of brick vs. cement is a bit higher, but restoring the sidewalk and possibly the driveway to the original surface was worth it to them. German Village Society's Sidewalk Repair and Maintenance Program also provided $700 toward the project. It took about a week to complete.
