Silvia grew up enjoying all the arts, but her biggest passion was writing. Upon meeting and hearing a Cuban male tell his courageous life story she decided to write about his journey in her first book, Just another Cuban.

Silvia wants to leave a meaningful legacy, through her books, that helps younger generations in positive ways. She often attends book fairs and festivals as well as creating social media to sell more books which helps her pay the illustrators, especially the ones that are struggling in South America (Venezuela and Nicaragua).
Here is the star of the book,Taco, an African gray parrot who is 15 years old.
Goose, was inspired by Silvia’s love of writing and came up with a story about their African grey parrot, Taco. He wanted to educate children about these beautiful and intelligent parrots, the horrors of poaching and animal rescue.
Other characters in Taco include his housemates, Chicharito, a Chihuahua mix who is 13,

and three felines, named Chamoy, 21, Tucita, 1 and Milaneso, 1. Milaneso was a German Village stray..
Next up is a comic book about Taco. A work in progress.
Both Silvia and Goose were born and raised in Chihuahua Mexico.
When not writing books, Silvia is a CPA and Goose is a Computer Systems Engineer.

They moved to Columbus from California for a work opportunity and immediately fell in love with German Villages' quaintness. Their most favorite thing is hanging out with wonderful neighbors/friends. They also love to stroll around the beautiful neighborhood.
