Byron and I used to live together in England and often travel back there to visit. There is an early morning American Airlines flight from Columbus to Heathrow (connecting through Chicago) that arrives into London on the same day. That is nice since you can go to bed when you arrive and hopefully wake up the next day fresh and ready to go out and about!
We stayed at the Claridge's Hotel in Mayfair.

We are both theatre addicts and love a good musical! We went to see many shows and in particular enjoyed Peter Pan the Pantomime featuring Jennifer Saunders as Hook - it was over the top in every way and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
We also saw a Christmas concert at the Royal Albert Hall which was magical and enjoyed spending time admiring the architecture, finding cute little pubs tucked away down alley ways and eating all of the things we miss.

I met my friend, Janet, from Connecticut at the Bryant Park Grille (which was closed due to a private event) so we strolled over to Michelin 2 Star Gabriel Kruether's Alsatian restaurant on 42nd Street. We ordered a cocktail and shared the Truffled Country Pâté w/ seasonal pickles w/ toasted sourdough batard.

I went to see Danny Devito with my son, Roth and his girlfriend at the Broadway show I NEED THAT. The play, about a hoarder, was extended from the original run due to popularity.
Devito was excellent in his role and he is always a delight to watch, whatever the medium. In one of the scene's he played the board game SORRY with himself and it was enormously funny. Unfortunately, the show closed 12/30/23.
