Issue XVII By: Kyle Haines Welcome to Issue XVII. I thoroughly enjoyed a spring journey to my native state, California. First to downtown San Diego and nearby Coronado and after to San Francisco, the Bay Area and Napa Valley! Check out Jim Slagle's home at 655 Grant Avenue. It will be featured on the 2022 Haus und Garten Tour. He bought it in January of 2021 and renovated it to his taste! A great time was had connecting at four GV Social events. A cocktail hour with Village Moms at Barcelona restaurant, a SPOT dinner at the Latz family home on Beck Street, PROST had an event at the soon to open, The Laundry, next to Hausfrau Haven and German Village Society threw a Great Gatsby party for sponsors, owners of homes on the tour and pre-tour dinner participants to thank them for their generosity.
