Miami
On way to South Beach.

decided to go to Miami for some warmth and to interview for a global entry card. You can go to Port Clinton, OH, but Florida sun and beach was a much more appealing February journey.
My Bay Area girlfriend, Rachel, was staying in Ft. Lauderdale and Ubered down to South Beach to meet me for lunch.
We strolled down the Miami Beach Boardwalk and decided to eat oceanside at DiLido Beach Club which is affiliated with the Ritz Carlton.
The food, drink, service and views were wonderful!
And then Joe Biden showed up for a bite!
Certainly looked like him.
Certainly looked like him.
BRICKELL CITY CENTRE
Later I met a friend of mine, Lourdes, who lives in the financial district of Miami, to catch up and grab dinner at the dynamic Brickell City Centre.

DESIGN DISTRICT
Next, off to the Miami Design District, where you will find high end fashion brands, design businesses, art displays, interesting architecture & delicous dining establishments. It is beautifully put together and also an efficient way, due to one after another after another proximity, to see what all the major luxury brands are currently showcasing.
I touched the walls at Tiffany's because they look so textured. The feel is completely flat. Designed by artist Damien Hirst.
I made a reservation at Michelin one star, Le Jardinier which is located within the Design District. The food and service perfect. I dined in the outdoor terrace and surprised myself as I ate absolutely every bite of the delicious three-course meal.

WYNWOOD
Below the Design District is the Wynwood area with murals galore, Wynwood Walls, shops and numerous restaurants.
